LISREL Statistical Software - User Groups and Mailing Lists

There are listserv discussion lists on structural equation modeling and multilevel modeling in which topics relating to LISREL, PRELIS, and MULTILEV modeling and intrepretation may be raised. Keep in mind that list participants are using various types of software in addition to LISREL products

  • SEMNET - pertaining to structural equation modeling, is hosted at the University of Alabama. You may join the list and post questions or do browser-based searches of its archives. There is a overview of SEMNET.
  • MULTILEVEL - covers multilevel modeling issues and is hosted in the United Kingdom. You may join the list and post questions or do browser-based searches of its archives.

In the Research Triangle Area, two faculty members at UNC Chapel Hill, Ken Bollen and Patrick Curran, coordinate the Carolina Structural Equation Modeling (CSEM) Group. Dr. Bollen and Dr. Curran are regular instructors on this topic in the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods. Among the 2003 summer offerings are:
